Kaleb is so adorable! He amazes me everyday. He is constantly making me smile, laugh, and happy cry! :)Here are some sweet things that he has been saying lately that I wanted to write before I forget....
One of Kaleb's favorite things to do is listen to his "Brite Music" and watch the computer do the slide show of our pictures. When he came across this picture he said...."MOUNTAIN" (the mountain of the Lord)
And then when he saw this one he said,
"MOMMY, PRINCESS" :)
When Kaleb woke up from his nap yesterday he walked out of his room, sat on the couch and said, "DADDY, GO TO THE TEMPLE" Craig and I looked at each other with dropped jaws. WOW!
And when we went to see Santa at the mall I asked him what he wanted Santa to get him for Christmas and he said, "JESUS." That just melted my heart. And BONUS I got it on video.

I am thankful for...
I am thankful for...
...the mess to clean after a party because it means I have been surrounded by friends.
...the taxes I pay because it means I'm employed.
...The clothes that fit too snug because it means I have enough to eat.
...my shadow who watches me work because it means I am out in the sunshine.
...the spot I find at the far end of the parking lot because it means I am capable of walking.
...the piles of laundry and ironing because it means my loved ones are nearby.
...the lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home.
...my heating bill because it means I am warm.
...the person behind me in church who sings off key because it means I can hear.
...weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day because it means I have been productive.
...the alarm that goes off in the early hours because it means that I am alive!

Ramsey
This Thanksgiving our family has so much to be thankful for. Our biggest thanks is for our new baby boy. Ramsey Whatley Alexander! He is precious, perfect, healthy and adorable! I am enjoying every minute of being a new mother again. especially seeing the joy in Kalebs face. He loves his new baby brother. He is so good with him. He loves kissing him and every little baby sound that Ramsey makes, Kaleb busts out laughing! Its so sweet!
Ramsey's due date was actually the 22ND of November. But I went to my doctors for just the routine check up that week and i was complaining to him how uncomfortable I was and I said, "ugh! I just want him out right now!" I did but not really because I wanted to have my mom in town first... so when what I thouhgt all he was doing was checking my cervix, what he really did was strip my membrane....yeah but he told me after the fact....and he said,"that should get things moving right along." yep, thats when the contractions started. But they went away that night so I didnt think much of it. That next morning they were so strong that I packed the hospital bag, cleaned the house, and Craig cleaned the car out and put the car seat in just in case. The contractions didn't seem so scary and I felt healthy and in a really good mood all day. Just to be sure we when into the hospital anyway. (not without stopping for one last food craving of a whopper Jr) Craig thought they were going to send me home because he didn't believe I was actually in labor (because I was being so tough! :) however...The nurse checked me out and then said, "uh, you need to get into the delivery room right now!!!" we were shocked! and then Ramsey was with us about 2 1/2 hours later! everything went amazing!

TRICK OR TREAT!
We Had so much fun! We went trick or treating down town Astoria during the day. all the shops do it for the kids. it was super busy. Then later that night we went to seaside and hit up some neighborhoods. Kaleb would start saying "trick or treat" about 5 feet away from the doors! lol and then a sweet, "dank ew" after they would give him candy. sometimes he would try and reach in the bucket and take a few more.silly.
